I sincerely wish you and yours the merriest
of Christmases and a very happy New Year.
Celebrating the reason for the season around

We had a Swiss-mas, complete with fondue,
sausage wraps and apfelkuchlein- a delicious
dessert of battered apple rings!

Headed out to Narnia, I mean, Yosemite last
week- the snow and hiking was unbelievably
beautiful and I'm not sure I can go back any
other time but winter! Gorgeous!
Had a slew of auditions right before the
holidays! Yay! Got me pumped for
the New Year and fresh opportunities.
What are you excited about in the New Year?
pssst! Actors, listen close!
Another Thrifty Actor Tip!

Are you in SAGAFTRA? Did you know they
offer free workshops with casting
directors?? As I am opposed to paid CD
workshops, I miss out on being called in to
casting offices where I am unknown.
However, SAG AFTRA offers CAP workshops
where you can work in a small group of
actors with a casting director, do a scene,
pick their brain, and NOT FEEL LIKE YOU'VE
BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF! Imagine that!
They're completely free, but you can only
take one every 90 days, and they fill up
fast. I was on the waitlist for their
last one with Josh Einsohn, CD for
Community. Fortunately, a last minute
opening allowed me to attend and I had a
great time, and felt I left a good
impression. DO IT!
