Today is my birthday!
In case I've been vague in this newsletter so
far, today is my birthday! I'm having a
grand ole time here in sunny CA, and I'm so
excited to be starting the next year of my life
here. It's gonna be a good one : )

My birthday week has been filled with awesome
things, such as a terrific commercial audition,
and a great callback for a super cool play that
I hope to be a part of- will hear about that in
the next few days. I also did a hair show
for Wella, and they gave me bangs! Still
getting used to the new 'do, but I think I'm
liking it. Good to change things up a bit,
eh?
The other super crazy exciting news, and the
reason there was no January newsletter, is we
bought a house!! I am having the time of
my life getting settled in, and enjoying the
awesomeness of home ownership. So blessed!

Birthday themed Thrifty actor tip!
I had no idea the bounty of free offered on your
birthday! Last night I enjoyed $30 off my
meal at Benihana's Japanese steakhouse- total
bill= 50 cents! This morning, got a free
Grand Slam breakfast at Denny's ('cause I'm
classy, that's why), and today I'll be enjoying
a free Starbucks drink and Corner Bakery
dessert. Now THAT'S how to be a thrifty
actor!!

2 weeks until the Catalina marathon and my
training is going well- save for 2 weekends ago
when I got lost in Cheseboro Canyon and had to
be rescued by a search and rescue
helicopter...oops.
