New Year!

I know, I know.  It's groundhog day, and this is January's update.  Sue me.  I'm having too much fun in the beautiful weather out here- sorry Texas and Oklahoma.   Hope you're staying warm and making the most out of this wonderful New Year!

I attended my first ever LA Actors Tweetup!  It was a blast talking with other actors, agents, producers and the like all night long.  Looking forward to the next one!

OK, you all know my affinity for ebay.  It's only grown tenfold.  Guess who just made her own android phone for under $100?  This gal.  It didn't take any super technical knowledge.  Just a few simple Google searches.  Find a mainboard with a clean ESN.  Then find the housing.  Put it together.  Wa-la!  You've got a fancy new android phone for 1/3 of the cost, and if you go with Virgin Mobile, no contracts, no fees on top of your plan.  Now THAT'S what I call thrifty.
